WHO ARE WE?
The Center for Public Health Practice and Research (CPHPR), at the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health has, for several years and in-line with the college's mission, provided assistance to rural hospitals and rural communities in the state of Georgia. The team has had the privilege of providing technical assistance to Georgia's CAHs through the Flex Financial and Operational Improvement Grant, focusing on evaluating the financial and operational performance of participating CAHs and working in partnership with these hospitals towards the goal of financial sustainability.

OUR Mission
To support Georgia’s Critical Access Hospitals’ efforts to improve their financial and operational performance.

OUR VISION
The Georgia Southern University team will build a partnership with each participating hospital to develop an understanding of each hospital’s unique needs. We will work collaboratively with hospital leadership to effectively measure financial and operational performance, develop evidence-based business strategies, and support implementation of patient-centered performance improvement opportunities.
