Employee engagement is vital to the financial sustainability of rural hospitals. Engaged employees are more satisfied with their organizations, and are committed to the success of the organization. They are also less likely to leave the organization.

 

As part of the 2020 FLEX Financial and Operational Improvement Program (Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Grant Program, CFDA 93.241), the Flex team at Georgia Southern University will be working in partnership with selected Georgia Critical Access Hospitals to complete an employee engagement assessment and to develop an action plan for improving employee engagement.
